I have the hardest time balancing initiating and waiting for the other side to initiate. Not so much in friendships, but definitely in relationships. I want to feel wanted in a relationship, and to me, initiating conversations and hanging out shows me that the other person wants to be around me. But at times I end up being the initiator because I get impatient. This seems to be a trend…and I don’t know what to do.
I wouldn’t say that I’m giving up on the person by not calling. I’m usually dying on the inside waiting for that phone call.
